Many of the improvements LED TV's are also made known in Neo PDP TVs, but manufacturers claim them within one years the most important improvement, an infinite contrast ratio, have achieved. |

| LCD TV uses a backlight to the image display. In the "older" LCD TV's are used as lamps, called CCFL lamps. A LED TV contrast, has an LCD panel that makes the image and use a large number of small LED lights and backlight. |
